Therefore, the nebulization of moisturizing substances, such as hyaluronic acid, is the correct therapeutic approach that restores the level of hydration, providing relief to irritated mucosa. The proper hypertonicity of the solution also contributes to hydration: this allows for the liquefaction and removal of mucus.
