{"product_id":"betadine-10garze-impregn-10x10","title":"BETADINE*10 IMPREGNATED GAUZE PADS 10x10","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eBETADINE 10% Impregnated gauze\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Iodopovidone\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat it is and what it is used for\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBetadine 10% Impregnated gauze contains iodopovidone, a disinfectant for topical use.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Betadine 10% Impregnated gauze is indicated for the cleaning and disinfection of minor skin lesions such as small superficial wounds and mild pressure ulcers (skin lesions affecting body parts subjected to prolonged pressure) \u003cb\u003ein adults and children over 6 months of age.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eDo not use Betadine 10% Impregnated gauze\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - If you are allergic to iodopovidone, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).\u003cbr\u003e - If you suffer from hyperthyroidism.\u003cbr\u003e - If the child is under 6 months of age.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTalk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Betadine 10% Impregnated gauze.\u003cbr\u003e Betadine 10% Impregnated gauze is for \u003cb\u003eexternal use only\u003c\/b\u003e and should not be applied to severely damaged skin or large areas.\u003cbr\u003e Accidental ingestion or inhalation of some disinfectants can have serious, sometimes fatal, consequences.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eAvoid\u003c\/b\u003e contact with \u003cb\u003eeyes.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Do not use this medicine for prolonged treatments: the use, especially if prolonged, of topical products can cause allergic reactions (see section \"Possible side effects\"). In such a case, stop the treatment and consult your doctor, who will prescribe appropriate therapy.\u003cbr\u003e Particular caution should be used in patients with pre-existing renal insufficiency who require regular applications of Betadine to damaged skin.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor if you suffer from thyroid disorders (a gland located at the base of the neck).
