{"product_id":"fenecox-gola-spray-15ml-0-25","title":"FENECOX THROAT*SPRAY 15ML 0.25%","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eFENECOX GOLA 2.5 mg\/ml mouthwash\u003cbr\u003eFENECOX GOLA 2.5 mg\/ml oral spray\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat it is and what it is used for\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFENECOX GOLA contains flurbiprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic (painkiller) medicine, which acts against inflammation and pain in the throat, mouth and gums.\u003cbr\u003eFENECOX GOLA is used in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age for the treatment of pain and irritation symptoms of the gums, mouth and throat (e.g. gingivitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis), also as a result of conservative or extractive dental therapy (e.g. treatment of cavities or tooth extraction.\u003cbr\u003eConsult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days of treatment (see section 3).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eDo not take FENECOX GOLA:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e- if you are allergic to flurbiprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);\u003cbr\u003e- if you are allergic to flurbiprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);\u003cbr\u003e- if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid (a medicine against inflammation, pain, fever and heart problems) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) (see section Other medicines and FENECOX GOLA);\u003cbr\u003e- if you have previously suffered from bleeding or perforation of the stomach or intestine related to previous treatments with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs);\u003cbr\u003e- if you suffer from chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease);\u003cbr\u003e- if you frequently suffer from peptic ulcer (stomach lesion) or stomach or intestinal bleeding (two or more distinct episodes of ulcer or bleeding);\u003cbr\u003e- if you suffer from severe heart failure (reduced heart function), severe liver failure (reduced liver function) and severe kidney failure (reduced kidney function).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDo not take\/give FENECOX GOLA in the last 3 months of pregnancy (see section Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDo not give FENECOX GOLA Spray and Mouthwash to children under 12 years of age.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eConsult your doctor or pharmacist before taking FENECOX GOLA.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn particular, tell your doctor if you:\u003cbr\u003e- have previously suffered from bronchial asthma (a respiratory disease), as the risk of bronchospasm (narrowing of the bronchi which causes severe breathing difficulties due to reduced air passage) increases;\u003cbr\u003e- have previously suffered from allergies;\u003cbr\u003e- are taking other Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs);\u003cbr\u003e- suffer from systemic lupus erythematosus or mixed connective tissue disease;\u003cbr\u003e- suffer from reduced kidney, heart or liver function (renal, cardiac or hepatic insufficiency);\u003cbr\u003e- suffer from hypertension (high blood pressure);\u003cbr\u003e- are taking other analgesics for a long time or without respecting the dosage, as headache may occur;\u003cbr\u003e- have previously suffered from peptic ulcer (stomach lesion) and other stomach and intestinal diseases, as the risk of these diseases recurring increases. This risk increases especially with high doses of flurbiprofen, if you are elderly or if the peptic ulcer has been complicated by bleeding or perforation of the stomach and intestine (see section 4 Possible side effects);\u003cbr\u003e- if you are elderly (as you are more likely to experience side effects);\u003cbr\u003e- if you have heart or blood vessel problems, as medicines like FENECOX GOLA may be associated with a modest increase in the risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction) or stroke. The risk of side effects increases with high doses and prolonged treatments; do not exceed the dose of FENECOX GOLA and do not take it for long periods. Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, a history of stroke or think you may be at risk for these conditions (for example, if you have high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol or smoke);\u003cbr\u003e- have an infection - refer to the Infections section below.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eInfections\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNon-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can mask signs of infections such as fever and pain. This can delay appropriate treatment of the infection, which, in turn, can lead to an increased risk of complications. If you take this medicine during an infection and the symptoms of the infection persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eReport any unusual abdominal symptoms to your doctor.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe use of this medicine, especially if prolonged, can give rise to allergic phenomena or local irritation (see section 4 Possible side effects); in such cases, stop treatment and consult your doctor who, if necessary, will carry out appropriate therapy.\u003cbr\u003eIf you experience mouth irritation, stop treatment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFlurbiprofen, like other NSAIDs, can inhibit platelet aggregation and prolong bleeding time.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eChildren and adolescents\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDo not give FENECOX GOLA Spray and Mouthwash to children under 12 years of age.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLike all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.\u003cbr\u003eIf you experience the following side effects during treatment with FENECOX GOLA, STOP treatment and contact your doctor immediately:\u003cbr\u003e• \u003cb\u003eallergic phenomena (sensitisation phenomena)\u003c\/b\u003e:\u003cbr\u003e- allergic reaction or anaphylactic reactions (severe allergic reactions) or angioedema (sudden swelling of the mouth\/throat and mucous membranes);\u003cbr\u003e- local irritation;\u003cbr\u003e- sensations of heat or tingling in the mouth and throat (this effect may occur with tablets);\u003cbr\u003e- respiratory phenomena: asthma, bronchospasm, wheezing or shortness of breath;\u003cbr\u003e- various skin disorders: skin rashes of different types, itching, redness, swelling, skin loss, blisters, desquamation or ulceration of the skin and mucous membranes.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIf you experience the following side effects at the beginning of treatment with FENECOX GOLA, contact your doctor immediately:\u003cbr\u003e- abdominal pain;\u003cbr\u003e- peptic ulcer (stomach lesion);\u003cbr\u003e- perforation and bleeding of the stomach or intestine.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese side effects can be fatal and you may experience them with or without warning symptoms.
