{"product_id":"imidazyl-antist-coll-1fl-10ml","title":"IMIDAZYL ANTIST*COLL 1FL 10ML","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eImidazyl Antistaminico 1 mg\/ml + 1 mg\/ml eye drops, solution\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e naphazoline nitrate + tonzylamine hydrochloride\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat it is and what it is used for\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eImidazyl Antistaminico contains the active ingredients naphazoline nitrate, which belongs to a group of medicines called decongestants, and tonzylamine hydrochloride, which belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Imidazyl Antistaminico is used to treat allergies and inflammations of the eye (conjunctivitis) accompanied by light sensitivity (photophobia), tearing, a sensation of foreign bodies, and pain.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 4 days of treatment.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eDo not use Imidazyl Antistaminico\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in paragraph 6)\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to other medicines of the same class as naphazoline nitrate and tonzylamine hydrochloride; in particular xylometazoline, oxymetazoline, tetryzoline\u003cbr\u003e - if you have a disease due to high pressure inside the eye (narrow-angle glaucoma) or if you have other serious eye diseases\u003cbr\u003e - if you are simultaneously taking certain medicines used to treat depression (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) (see paragraph “Other medicines and Imidazyl Antistaminico”)\u003cbr\u003e - in children under 12 years of age\u003cbr\u003e - during pregnancy and breastfeeding (see paragraph “Pregnancy and breastfeeding”).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eConsult your doctor or pharmacist before using Imidazyl Antistaminico:\u003cbr\u003e • if you suffer from high blood pressure (hypertension);\u003cbr\u003e • if you have heart problems;\u003cbr\u003e • if you suffer from an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism);\u003cbr\u003e • if you have high blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia, diabetes).\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e The use, especially if prolonged, of topical medicines can cause allergies (sensitization phenomena). In such a case, stop the treatment and contact your doctor.\u003cbr\u003e Imidazyl Antistaminico is not suitable for the treatment of infections, mechanical damage (trauma), chemical or heat damage, or for removing foreign bodies from the eye.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Imidazyl Antistaminico is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.\u003cbr\u003e Accidental ingestion of Imidazyl Antistaminico, especially in children, can cause toxic phenomena (see paragraph “If you use more Imidazyl Antistaminico than you should”).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLike all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e The use of the medicine can sometimes cause\u003cbr\u003e • pupil dilation;\u003cbr\u003e • increased intraocular pressure;\u003cbr\u003e • nausea;\u003cbr\u003e • headache (cephalalgia);\u003cbr\u003e • general effects on the body such as:\u003cbr\u003e - increased blood pressure;\u003cbr\u003e - heart problems;\u003cbr\u003e - increased blood sugar (glucose) levels.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Rarely, allergic phenomena (hypersensitivity) may occur; in such a case, stop the treatment and consult your doctor.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Adhering to the instructions contained in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e These side effects are generally temporary.
