In these cases, treatment must be discontinued and appropriate therapy initiated.\u003cbr\u003e Adequate preventive hygiene measures should be adopted in order to limit the possibility of infection or reinfection.\u003cbr\u003e Appropriate therapy should also be followed by the partner if he or she has been infected.\u003cbr\u003e Micotef vaginal cream does not stain skin or clothes.\u003cbr\u003e Micotef should not be used concomitantly with latex condoms or diaphragms. Micotef may damage latex products and prevent them from working properly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLike all medicines, Micotef vaginal cream can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e Some disorders such as burning and vaginal irritation, redness and itching, pelvic cramps and, more rarely, headache and skin rashes have been reported.
