{"product_id":"nafazolina-pe-spray-nas-15ml","title":"NAPHAZOLINE PE*NAS SPRAY 15ML","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eNafazolina Pensa 100 mg\/100 ml nasal spray, solution\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Nafazoline\u003cbr\u003e Equivalent medicine\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat it is and what it is used for\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNAFAZOLINA PENSA nasal spray contains the active ingredient Nafazoline, which belongs to a group of medicines called decongestants and acts as a vasoconstrictor on the venous vessels of the nasal mucosa, i.e. by reducing the size of the blood vessels in the nose.\u003cbr\u003e NAFAZOLINA PENSA nasal spray is indicated to clear the nose (nasal decongestant) when you have:\u003cbr\u003e • acute inflammation of the inner wall of the nose and throat with catarrh (acute catarrhal rhinitis and pharyngitis)\u003cbr\u003e • inflammation of the inner wall of the nose due to allergy (allergic rhinitis)\u003cbr\u003e • acute inflammation of the internal parts (mucosa) of the cavities located in the skull bones near the nasal fossae (acute sinusitis).\u003cbr\u003e Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a few days of treatment.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eDo not use NAFAZOLINA PENSA nasal spray\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6)\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from severe heart disease and your blood pressure is very high (severe arterial hypertension) - if you have a disease due to high pressure inside the eye (glaucoma)\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from overactivity of a gland called the thyroid (hyperthyroidism)\u003cbr\u003e - if you are taking medicines used to treat depression or have stopped using them less than two weeks ago (see Other medicines and NAFAZOLINA PENSA nasal spray)\u003cbr\u003e - if it is for a child under 12 years of age.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTalk to your doctor or pharmacist before using NAFAZOLINA PENSA nasal spray\u003cbr\u003e • if you are elderly;\u003cbr\u003e • if you have an enlarged prostate (prostatic hypertrophy) as there may be a risk of urinary retention (inability to urinate);\u003cbr\u003e • if you have heart and blood vessel (cardiovascular) diseases, especially if you have high blood pressure, the use of the medicine will be evaluated by your doctor on a case-by-case basis;\u003cbr\u003e • if you are pregnant or breastfeeding (see Pregnancy and breastfeeding).\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e Continued use of medicines used to clear a blocked nose can alter the normal function of the inner lining (mucosa) of the nose and adjacent bone cavities (paranasal sinuses) and can also cause habituation (addiction) to the medicine, which may no longer be effective. Long-term use can be harmful.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren and adolescents\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e NAFAZOLINA PENSA nasal spray is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLike all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e The medicine can cause a worsening of the sensation of nasal obstruction, irritation, and swelling of the blood vessels of the inner lining of the nose (rebound phenomena of sensitization and mucosal congestion). Rapid absorption of the medicine through the inflamed inner lining of the nose (mucosa) can lead to effects involving the entire body (systemic):\u003cbr\u003e - increased blood pressure (arterial hypertension);\u003cbr\u003e - slowing of the heart rate (reflex bradycardia);\u003cbr\u003e - headache;\u003cbr\u003e - difficulty urinating.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eReporting of side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you get any side effects, including any not listed in this leaflet, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
