Discard the clear cover. Do not use Optive Advance if the clear protective cover or the tab is damaged or missing. \u003cbr\u003e 2) Remove the tab from the colored cap by pulling the end of the tab away from the bottle and twisting it counter-clockwise. Discard the tab.\u003cbr\u003e 3) Remove the colored protective cap by pulling it upwards. Store the colored cap for subsequent use.\u003cbr\u003e 4) Activate the bottle for first use by slowly squeezing the bottle and dispensing one drop onto a tissue. Familiarize yourself with the time and pressure required to dispense a drop. Wait a few seconds after squeezing to allow the drop to fully emerge. Make sure the bottle reinflates between dispenses. Repeat this operation twice. Avoid the bottle tip touching the tissue. \u003cbr\u003e 5) The bottle is now ready for use. Gently squeeze the center of the bottle and let a drop fall into the affected eye. Please note that there may be a few seconds delay between squeezing the bottle and a drop appearing. Do not squeeze the bottle too hard. Instill 1 or 2 drops into the eye as needed. Once administered, allow the bottle to reinflate and then reposition the colored protective cap, pushing it downwards. \u003cbr\u003e Please note that, if used as directed, a small amount of Optive Advance may remain inside the bottle that may not be fully dispensed. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of its components. Do not swallow the solution. To avoid contamination or possible eye damage, do not rest the bottle tip on any surface and avoid direct contact with the eye. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the product. Do not use if the protective cover or tab is damaged or missing. Do not use if the solution changes color. Keep out of reach of children. Allow 5 minutes between the administration of ophthalmic products. Discard any remaining solution after 3 months from first opening.
