The sensor should not be immersed in liquids.\u003cbr\u003e Holding the thermometer in your hand for too long may result in a higher ambient temperature reading than actual.\u003cbr\u003e This could make body temperature measurement lower than it actually is.\u003cbr\u003e - Battery replacement:\u003cbr\u003e When the battery icon shows that the batteries are running low, they must be immediately replaced with two AAA batteries.\u003cbr\u003e 1. Open the battery cover: use your thumb to push out the battery compartment cover.\u003cbr\u003e 2. Insert the two AAA batteries.\u003cbr\u003e 3. Forehead mode is the default mode. The icon appears on the display and two beeps are emitted.
