Himalayan Pink Salt is a fossil salt, resulting from the drying up of primordial and uncontaminated seas, formed over 250 million years ago in the Himalayan region.

Characteristics:
Its perfect crystalline structure derives from the immense pressures generated by the Himalayan mountains and, even today, it is extracted manually from the ancient salt tunnels of the Salt Range in Pakistan. It is an ancient condiment naturally rich in minerals, including iron, which gives it its typical pink color.
