acquagel powder

Gelling powder for the preparation of gelled water to hydrate and re-educate the swallowing function in subjects with swallowing disorders.
Contains no GMOs (genetically modified organisms).

Ingredients
Dextrose; gelling agents: E412 (guar gum); E410 (locust bean gum); E415 (xanthan gum); E407 (carrageenan); sweetener: aspartame; orange colouring E110; orange flavouring.

Instructions for use
Dissolve 1 sachet of powder in ½ litre of still water, bring to the boil (even in a microwave oven) and let it cool in the fridge until it has gelled.
The quantity varies according to the patient's needs: follow the doctor's instructions. For hydration, in general, ½-1 litre of Acquagel per day is recommended. Use cold. Each sachet of acquagel is pre-dosed with 5g of powder to prepare ½ litre of gelled water. Adhering to the indicated proportions is essential for the perfect success of the preparation.

Warnings
Use under medical supervision, do not use in children under 3 years of age, not suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition. Colourant E122: may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. Contains a source of phenylalanine.

Storage
The sachets can be stored at room temperature. The prepared gelled water should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 48 hours.
