Description
A dietary food for special medical purposes, for the dietary management of infants with phenylketonuria and/or hyperphenylalaninemia, from birth to 12 months of age, or as a supplement after one year of age. Phenylalanine-free, supplemented with long-chain fatty acids.

Directions for use
Dosage: according to medical prescription, taking into account the patient's age, body weight and phenylalanine tolerance, and nutritional needs.
Shake the bottle well. Pour the required amount of food into the feeding bottle and heat in a bain-marie to the desired temperature (37°C) and administer. After use, carefully re-close the bottle.
The product is ready for use and should not be further diluted unless expressly indicated by the paediatrician.

Warnings
Afenil Uno must be used under medical supervision, by subjects with confirmed hyperphenylalaninemia including phenylketonuria. Afenil Uno can be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product may pose health risks if consumed by subjects who do not have the specific disorder for which it is indicated. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use parenterally. Do not use intravenously.

Storage
Store the product at a temperature between 8°C and 25°C, in a dry place, away from light and direct heat sources.
Shelf life unopened: 12 months.
Storage period and conditions after first opening the package: 2 days in the refrigerator.

Available in single 500 ml bottles and packs of 6 x 200 ml bottles.
