Description
Elder is a shrub or small tree frequently found in thickets, cool woods and hedges from the coast to the submontane zone, and is often seen in South Tyrol near farmhouses. The flowers are fragrant, small, and yellowish-white. They are harvested in May-June and are widely used in home herbal practice. In addition to its beneficial properties, the infusion is also an excellent drink with a very pleasant taste.
