Folic Acid

A dietary supplement containing folic acid, useful for women of childbearing age who wish to have children at some point, for pregnant women, to provide a surplus of energy to the body and promote the best growth of maternal tissues, and for everyone during periods when our well-being is challenged by psycho-physical stress or intense physical or sports activity.
       Folic Acid
Also known as Vitamin B9, Folic Acid plays an important role in several fundamental metabolic processes. Firstly, it contributes to the synthesis of amino acids, the building blocks used to create all proteins, which are essential components for the reproduction, growth, proper functioning, and repair of all cells. Furthermore, it aids hematopoiesis: the formation and maturation of all types of blood cells.
It is indicated for the prevention of certain congenital defects; it reduces the risk of neural tube defects and, possibly, other congenital malformations.
Gluten-free.

Ingredients
Per 1 tablet: folic acid 400 µg (200% RDA*).
*RDA: Recommended Daily Allowance.

Directions for use
Take 1 tablet daily, preferably away from meals.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements are not intended as substitutes for a varied diet.
