Description
Food supplement with Cascara sagrada and Green Anise, useful for intestinal well-being. Cascara helps regulate the intestinal tract, while Anise promotes regular gastrointestinal motility and the elimination of gas. Both ingredients contribute to digestive functions.

Ingredients
Lactose monohydrate; Bulking agent: Cellulose powder; Cascara sagrada (Rhamnus purshiano L.) bark dry extract (supported on lactose), Green Anise (Pimpinella anisum L.) fruit powder; Bulking agent: Croscarmellose sodium; Anti-caking agent: Magnesium salts of fatty acids.

Instructions for use
2 tablets twice a day, to be swallowed with water without chewing, preferably morning and evening.

In rare cases, spastic gastrointestinal disorders may occur. In these cases, it is necessary to reduce the doses. In case of chronic use or abuse, electrolyte loss, particularly potassium, albuminuria, and hematuria may occur; intestinal mucosal pigmentation, which is harmless and regresses once intake is stopped. Potassium loss can lead to alterations in cardiac function and myasthenia, especially if cardioactive glycosides, diuretics, and corticosteroids are taken simultaneously.

Interactions with other medications
None found. In case of chronic use/abuse, the resulting potassium loss can intensify the effect of cardiac glycosides and antiarrhythmics. Potassium depletion can worsen in combination with thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, and liquorice (dry extract, root).

Contraindications
Ileus, acute inflammatory conditions of the intestine (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, appendicitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and children under 12 years of age.

Store in a cool, dry place.
