EDENORM
free
Description
Edenorm free is a sterile, hypertonic ophthalmic solution with 5% sodium chloride, preservative-free, useful for the treatment of ocular edema. The Edenorm free bottle is equipped with an OSD (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser) dropper which, through its absolute filter system and valve, ensures the sterility of the product without the use of preservatives.
Instructions for use
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day or as directed by a doctor. After instillation, keep the eye closed for 1 or 2 minutes without blinking.
-For first use, remove the plastic ring sealing the cap by pulling the side tab.
-Remove the cap.
-Turn the bottle upside down over the eye and, with your index finger and thumb, apply increasing pressure to the sides until a drop comes out. It is possible that more force may be needed as the solution in the bottle runs out.
-Close the bottle with the cap.
Components
Main component: 5% sodium chloride.
Other components: hydroxyethylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene copolymer, polyethylene glycol, boric acid, disodium tetraborate decahydrate, water for injections.
Warnings
The product is for external ophthalmic use only. To eliminate the risk of solution contamination, avoid the dropper coming into contact with the eye or other objects. To avoid injury to the ocular surface, avoid the dropper coming into contact with the eye during instillation. As the solution in the bottle progressively runs out, more force will be required to dispense the drop. Close the bottle tightly after use. In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic drugs, consult your doctor. Do not use the product if the OSD bottle is damaged. Keep the preparation out of the sight and reach of children.
Contraindications: known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other chemically related substances.
Side effects: no undesirable effects are known after administration of the product. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. After application of the product, slight ocular burning and transient visual discomfort may occur.
