Escin and diethylamine salicylate
What it is and what it is used for
Edeven C.M. is a topical medication used for the treatment of joint and muscle pain resulting from trauma (minor trauma).
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not take Edeven C.M. if you are allergic to escin and diethylamine salicylate or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6)
• do not use on open lesions (wounds), mucous membranes, and skin areas treated with radiation
Warnings and precautions
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Edeven C.M. Do not use for prolonged periods without a doctor's advice.
There are no risks of habituation or dependence.
As this is a preparation for topical application, its use must be exclusively external. Avoid contact with eyes.
The use, especially prolonged use, of products for topical application can give rise to sensitisation phenomena.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Immune system disorders: in rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as redness, flaking, and dehydration of the skin may occur.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: contact dermatitis.
Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.
