Description
Dietary supplement containing Lactoferrin, Folic Acid, Iodine, and Vitamin C, useful in cases of increased need or reduced dietary intake of these nutrients. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. Iodine contributes to normal cognitive and nervous system functions. Vitamin C protects cells from oxidative stress and increases iron absorption.

Ingredients
Bulking agents: calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium phosphates; lactoferrin (from milk), vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid); anti-caking agents: polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, croscarmellose sodium, E471, silicon dioxide, E470b; coating agents: shellac, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, acetic esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, E570, polyvinylpyrrolidone; colorants: E171, E120; folic acid (pteroylmonoglutamic acid), potassium iodide.

Gluten-free. Contains milk, including lactose.

Directions for use
1 tablet per day at least 1 month before conception and throughout the first trimester of pregnancy. Tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water or other liquid, preferably before meals. Supplementation may be extended according to medical advice based on specific needs. For correct use of the product, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Lactoferrin is a cow's milk protein; its use is not recommended in case of allergy to milk proteins.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light, humidity, and direct heat sources. The date on the package refers to the product correctly stored, in an intact package.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
