Description
Elmex Junior toothpaste for children aged 6 to 12 years, specially designed for the specific needs during the change of dentition. New permanent teeth, which begin to emerge around six years of age, are particularly exposed to cavities because the enamel is initially still porous and relatively soft. A higher concentration of fluoride promotes the hardening process of the teeth, thus increasing the teeth's resistance to acid attacks and the consequent risk of cavities. Thanks to the specific properties of the amine fluorides contained in the toothpaste, protection against cavities is ensured even for several hours after brushing. The delicate taste encourages children to switch from children's toothpaste, with a lower fluoride content, to a product with a fluoride concentration suitable for their age.
