EOSINA NA 2% cutaneous solution
Eosin
What it is and what it is used for
EOSINA NA is a solution to be applied to the skin containing the active ingredient eosin, a medicine used as a skin disinfectant.
EOSINA NA is indicated for disinfecting small superficial wounds, abrasions, mild burns (first-degree burns), insect bites, diaper rash (erythema), and mild bedsores (skin lesions affecting body parts subjected to prolonged pressure).
Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a few days of treatment.
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use EOSINA NA
- if you are allergic to eosin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Frequency not known (cannot be estimated from the available data):
- skin irritation (contact dermatitis);
- hypersensitivity reactions.
