What it is and what it is used for
Essaven is a vasoprotector.

Essaven is used to treat symptoms attributable to venous insufficiency and states of capillary fragility.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients. Essaven should not be applied to open skin wounds, eczema, or mucous membranes (anal, etc.).

Warnings and precautions
Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only.

The use, especially if prolonged, of topical products can give rise to sensitisation phenomena. If this occurs, discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy.
If no appreciable results are observed after a short period of treatment, consult your doctor.

What to do during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
The use of the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not contraindicated.

Possible side effects
In very rare cases, allergic reactions such as exanthema or rash and urticaria may occur. Itching.
Any skin redness, which is extremely rare, disappears spontaneously by discontinuing the application of the preparation.
Like all medicines, Essaven can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Adherence to the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.
If any of the side effects get worse, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
