eva/qu
CE medical device, class I. eva/qu suppositories are indicated in all cases where there is a delay in the regular rhythm of defecation, whether occasional or recurrent. The absence of pharmacologically active substances, which can be absorbed by the body and cause side effects, makes eva/qu a valid and effective product against constipation. Its delicate local action, free from systemic effects, allows the use of the suppository even during periods such as: pregnancy, breastfeeding, convalescence, old age, also being indicated for people with motor disabilities. eva/qu suppositories are also indicated before medical procedures such as preparation for rectal examination, before surgical, gastroenterological, urological and procto-rectoscopy examinations. eva/qu is a valuable aid during travel, when cases of stubborn constipation may occur that need to be counteracted with a prompt and effective liberating effect. How to use
Use one or more suppositories per treatment. Once inserted into the anal cavity, the eva/qu suppository comes into close contact with body temperature. After about 3-4 minutes, the suppository dissolves and releases CO2, which is responsible for the effervescent effect characterized by the production of many micro-bubbles. The "bubbles" formed exert a local "massaging" effect on the walls of the rectum. The dissolved suppository also softens the stagnant feces located in the rectal ampulla, promoting detachment and a quick and satisfactory evacuation. Repeated use of the evaqu suppository also promotes the rehabilitation of the "lazy" physiological defecation mechanism.
Warnings
eva/qu suppositories for adults are not indicated for children and adolescents under 12 years of age. Use one or more suppositories per treatment. A feeling of incomplete emptying or a slight momentary burning sensation should not be a cause for concern. They resolve quickly. The suppository contains polyethylene glycol which can cause irritation.
Contraindications
There are no contraindications to the use of eva/qu evacuating suppositories. The suppository can also be used in the presence of hemorrhoids or local lesions - even if used frequently and for prolonged periods. The suppository is composed of natural and completely non-toxic substances (sodium bicarbonate, potassium bitartrate) also used in many food preparations.
