FER FOL C
Description
Dietary supplement that combines folic acid, ferrous gluconate, and vitamin C in a single compound.
Properties
Iron is an essential component of many basic biological processes (cellular energy processes, oxygen utilization, and DNA replication). It prevents learning disorders and promotes the development of neuro-cognitive abilities. Folic acid (vitamin B9), now known as essential in preventing neonatal malformations, especially those affecting the neural tube, is also essential for protein synthesis, DNA synthesis, and hemoglobin formation. Vitamin C promotes iron absorption and slows down its oxidation. It is involved in collagen synthesis and in the conversion of folic acid into folinic acid.
Ingredients
Water, fructose, ferrous gluconate, ascorbic acid; stabilizers: glycerol, sorbitol sol. 70%; acidity regulator: sodium lactate sol. 60%; thickener: xanthan gum; preservative: potassium sorbate; peach flavor, folic acid, natural lemon flavor; sweetener: sucralose.
Gluten-free.
