Properties
PIDO-FER, ferrous pidolate, is a ferrous salt of pidolic acid or L-PCA, obtained from the cyclization of L-glutamic acid, an amino acid of plant origin, through a thermal process without the use of solvents or chemicals.
L-PCA is a substance naturally present in the body in numerous tissues and biological fluids where it performs various physiological functions.
Given its physiological properties, L-PCA is recognized by the human body and acts as a carrier that allows the elements associated with it to cross biological barriers more easily and quickly.
Its physiologically active structure allows for better assimilation and bioavailability of the mineral it transports, while optimizing its tolerability.
The effectiveness of ferrous pidolate therefore derives from the synergistic action between iron and L-PCA and is characterized by high bioavailability, good tolerability, and thermal stability.
RIBODIET is a highly concentrated mixture of naturally derived nucleotides, obtained from yeast ribonucleic acid (RNA), in an optimal ratio to each other.
Ribonucleotides are the constituent molecules of ribonucleic acids (RNA), involved in all aspects concerning the maintenance, transfer, processing, and regulation of genetic information.
RNAs play an essential role in basic biological processes, such as embryonic development, cell proliferation, and cell differentiation.
