FERROCENTO ACT
Description
Ferrocento Act is a food supplement based on Iron, Folic Acid, and Vitamin C, useful in cases of increased need or reduced dietary intake of these nutrients, particularly for women of childbearing age, during pregnancy, and while breastfeeding. Ferrocento Act contains SunActive Fe, a special microencapsulated iron salt with high bioavailability, tasteless, pleasant to take, and free from unpleasant aftertastes, and Quatrefolic, folic acid in its biologically active form. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. Vitamin C increases iron absorption.
Ingredients
Sunactive Iron - Ferric diphosphate (ferric pyrophosphate) (on maltodextrin and sodium chloride); Shell: Food grade gelatin, Firming agent: glycerol, Colourant: Iron oxide; Sunflower oil; L-ascorbic acid; Emulsifier: Sunflower lecithin; Thickener: Mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; Quatrefolic - (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt (vegetable).
Gluten-free.
