Description
Filorin vials is an isotonic saline solution with hyaluronic acid for inhalation.
Thanks to the presence of hyaluronic acid, it hydrates the nasal mucous membranes, reducing discomfort related to dryness or irritation. The 0.9% sodium chloride gently cleanses the nasal cavities, liquefying secretions and facilitating their removal.
Recommended for daily nasal hygiene, it is useful in cases of colds, allergic and non-allergic rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, as well as in all cases where nasal decongestion is required.

Instructions for use
Direct irrigation: break the cap of the vial with a rotating movement, tilt the head to one side, never backwards, gently bring the spout of the vial to the upper nostril and press lightly to spray; keep the head tilted to the other side (never backwards) and repeat the irrigation in the other nostril. The container can be reclosed by turning and pressing the cap onto the mouth of the vial.
Irrigate with half a vial per nostril 2-3 times a day or more often as needed or according to medical advice.
Inhalation therapy: Filorin vials can also be used for inhalation therapy affecting the upper respiratory tract: in this case, use the appropriate inhalation devices that ensure proper nebulization and follow the instructions of the chosen device. Use pneumatic devices only.
Inhale one vial, 2-3 times a day or according to medical advice.

Components
Water, sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate.

Warnings
Keep the internal instructions with the product. Use the product for inhalation therapies only for the upper respiratory tract. Keep out of reach and sight of children to avoid improper use of the product. Avoid contact with eyes. Not intended for oral use. Not for injection. The use by multiple subjects of the same vial may compromise its effectiveness and may worsen existing problems or cause new problems to appear. Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. Do not use in cases of ongoing or recently concluded epistaxis, or in cases of damaged nasal mucosa. The inhalation of saline solutions in particularly sensitive patients could cause episodes of bronchospasm: in such a case, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor to establish appropriate therapy. Do not use beyond the expiration date or if the package is open or damaged. The indicated expiration date refers to the intact product correctly stored. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and contact a doctor. Do not use in case of accidental contamination after opening. Smoking could compromise the protective effect of hyaluronic acid. The use of this medical device does not replace other treatments prescribed by your doctor. Filorin vials can chemically interact with different substances if they are mixed with it in the inhalation solution. Do not use Filorin vials simultaneously with other substances unless expressly prescribed by your doctor. In that case, scrupulously follow the instructions prescribed by your doctor and the instructions for use of the product used in combination with Filorin vials. In case of any changes in the appearance of the mixture produced, immediately stop therapy and contact your doctor. Do not use the product in combination with quaternary ammonium compounds. Failure to correctly observe the warnings and instructions for use could compromise the effectiveness of the product or worsen existing problems or cause new problems to appear.
In some cases, the use of the product may cause a mild and transient feeling of local irritation. Hypersensitivity to components. Prolonged use may lead to sensitization phenomena: if this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor to establish appropriate therapy. If any undesirable effects, described or not in the package leaflet, are found, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage
If half a dose is used, the vial must be immediately reclosed with its cap and stored at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C (in the refrigerator) and used within 12 hours of opening. The vials must be stored in their box, at room temperature, away from light and heat. Do not freeze.
