Maple syrup can be used as a sweetener in hot drinks and yogurt. It is also suitable for preparing cakes, biscuits and desserts. Grade "C" has an intense flavour and is richer in minerals. It is produced by hot concentration of the sap of Acer saccharum (sugar maple).
