Fluifort 90 mg/ml syrup
Carbocysteine lysine salt monohydrate

What it is and what it is used for
Fluifort contains the active ingredient carbocysteine lysine salt monohydrate, which belongs to a group of cough and cold medicines called mucolytics used to facilitate the elimination of mucus from the respiratory tract.
This medicine is indicated for the treatment of cough and acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
Contact your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not take Fluifort

- if you suffer from gastroduodenal ulcer, a problem that can affect the stomach or the first part of the intestine;
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding (see the paragraph “Pregnancy and breastfeeding”).
Do not administer this medicine to children under 2 years of age (see paragraph “Children”).

Warnings and precautions
Contact your doctor or pharmacist before taking Fluifort.
