Description

To be administered by inhalation as fumigations. Its action is useful for clearing the respiratory tract in conditions such as irritated throat, common cold, acute or chronic irritations, in the presence of mucosal hypersecretion. The product is therefore to be used as an adjunct to all treatments aimed at restoring the functioning of the respiratory tract.
Fomentil helps to clear the respiratory tract, promotes the protection of the nasal and oral-pharyngeal mucosa, and the fluidification and removal of catarrhal secretions subsequently expelled through the physiological coughing mechanism. The water vapor generated by the fumigation, in the presence of menthol and eucalyptus, helps to decongest the respiratory tract, providing relief in conditions such as colds, coughs, sinusitis, bronchitis and inflammations of the respiratory system.

Directions for use
Dissolve 1-2 tablets in about half a liter of boiling water and inhale the vapors for 3-4 minutes, collecting them using a special steam inhaler or with your hands. Repeat this operation 3-4 times a day.
The water must be boiling for the tablet to dissolve completely. Break the tablets to facilitate their dissolution.
Do not cover your head with a cloth during inhalation and be careful to keep your face at a distance of about 40 cm to prevent hot water vapor from irritating the skin.
For children over 30 months: place a basin with boiling water near the child's bed and dissolve 3-4 tablets in it, one at a time. The duration of fumigation treatment should not exceed 3 days.

Components
Sodium bicarbonate, tartaric acid, microcrystalline cellulose, bentonite, glyceryl distearate, silica colloidal hydrated, polyvinylpyrrolidone, talc, magnesium stearate, flavour (eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, lavandula angustifolia oil, thymus vulgaris flower/leaf oil, menthol).

Warnings
Read the leaflet carefully. Do not use if the package is open or damaged. The product should not be used for children under 30 months of age. Do not administer in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. For external use, do not swallow the tablets or drink the solution. Use only for fumigations and inhalations. Avoid contact with eyes. No interactions with other products and/or medicines are known, however, in case of concomitant therapy for the respiratory tract, wait at least 30 minutes between the use of Fomentil and the other treatment. Fomentil is not recommended during pregnancy and in women of childbearing age who are not using contraceptive measures. Fomentil should not be used during breastfeeding. It is important to report any undesirable effects to your doctor or pharmacist. Keep out of sight and reach of children and anyone who may accidentally swallow the tablet or solution. Do not use a dose higher than recommended. Consult your doctor if you suffer from chronic respiratory diseases.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not dispose of in the environment after use.

Store away from direct light and heat, at room temperature.
