Description
Gelsectan is indicated for restoring intestinal function in patients suffering from disorders due to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), intestinal hypersensitivity, or those that manifest after taking certain medications, to relieve and prevent symptoms such as chronic or recurrent diarrhea, abdominal tension, pain, bloating, and flatulence.

Directions for use
Swallow the capsule with liquid.
1 or 2 capsules, depending on the severity of symptoms, twice a day (in the morning before breakfast and in the evening before dinner) for 2-4 weeks. Treatment can be continued if necessary.

Ingredients
Xyloglucan, pea protein and grape seed extract, xylo-oligosaccharides, magnesium stearate (vegetable origin), and precipitated amorphous silica.

Warnings
It is not necessary to consult a healthcare professional before using the product. However, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional if symptoms appear severe or persistent, or if there are doubts regarding the diagnosis, especially in elderly individuals.
This medical device is not a pharmacological treatment. If a healthcare professional recommends pharmacological treatment, the device can be administered concurrently with it.
Although no side effects are known, it is recommended not to use the product during pregnancy or in the first months of breastfeeding, unless otherwise indicated by a healthcare professional.
Do not use the product if the blister is open or damaged.
Keep the product out of the reach of children.
Gelsectan should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to xyloglucan or any other component of the product listed in the composition.

Storage
Do not store above 25 °C. Do not freeze. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
