GHEE
Ghee (or clarified butter) is an ancient Ayurvedic recipe derived from butter. It is essentially butter from which water and protein have been removed.Ayurvedic cuisine uses ghee instead of butter and oil for cooking, frying, and roasting, because it can be heated and cooked without its properties diminishing or being lost.
Ayurveda considers Ghee a Rasayana, one of the most effective means to stay young and promote cell regeneration.
Ghee:
- pacifies Vata and Pitta and increases digestive fire;
- promotes the physiological function of digestion;
