The Accu-Chek Instant blood glucose meter is designed to meet the diverse needs of people with diabetes and healthcare professionals. The system's features, such as the target range indicator and the new strip design with a wide application area, allow for quick and easy blood glucose measurement.
Colorimetric Target Range Indicator
Along with the test result, an arrow appears indicating whether the test result is above, within, or below the target blood glucose range. The target blood glucose range is represented by the green points on the indicator. If the test result is above or below the target range, the arrow will flash next to the blue or red point that best represents the deviation of the result from the target blood glucose range.
Easy application area
The test strip features a wider application area than leading brands on the market. The wide yellow application area is designed to allow application over the entire surface of the strip edge.1
Fast measurement
The measurement result appears in less than 5 seconds after applying blood to the strip.
Proven accuracy
The Accu-Chek Instant system meets the requirements of ISO 15197:2013/EN ISO 15197:2015 and offers even greater accuracy in providing reliable results, making it one of the most accurate Roche systems ever developed.
USB and Bluetooth connectivity
Data can be transferred via USB cable from the glucometer to diabetes management software on a PC or the web, or via Bluetooth.
Automatic data transfer
Thanks to Bluetooth technology, Accu-Chek Instant allows automatic wireless transmission of results and data to the mySugr App. This makes it easier to view and manage your data, also speeding up sharing with healthcare professionals.
mySugr APP FEATURES: The mySugr App is registered as a CE0123 medical device and allows monitoring the health status of people with diabetes from a smartphone, avoiding manual diary compilation. mySugr stores blood glucose levels, carbohydrates consumed, meals, insulin dosage, and many other data with the aim of helping patients stay on target, helping to avoid hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia.
By connecting the mySugr app to Accu-Chek Guide, automatic transfer of blood glucose data and free unlocking of the pro version are available, allowing users to download PDF reports to share with healthcare professionals, set blood glucose reminders, set basal requirements for insulin pump users, and use the App from different devices for remote monitoring.
Pre and post-meal marking: Through the mySugr App, it is possible to associate pre or post-meal marking with measurements taken with Accu-Chek Instant (as well as other more specific information about meal ingredients, carbohydrate quantity, etc.).
ACCU-CHEK SMART PIX SOFTWARE is a dedicated, CE-marked software that provides a clear and complete overview of one's situation by downloading, storing, and displaying on the computer the data present in the Accu-Chek Instant glucometer, facilitating its analysis.
INTERFACE WITH MYSTAR/SMART DIGITAL CLINIC ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD: Accu-Chek Instant is interfaced with the MyStar Connect/Smart Digital Clinic record. In addition, Roche Diabetes Care offers the possibility to transfer data from Accu-Chek Instant using additional software and electronic health records based on indicated needs.
Accu-Chek Instant is paired with the Accu-Chek Softclix system: the lancing device intended for people with diabetes for easy and almost painless capillary blood sampling, dedicated to the personal use of the individual patient.
Dual navigation button
There are two navigation buttons on the side of the glucometer. The upper button allows viewing averages of the last 7, 30, or 90 days directly on the glucometer, while using the mySugr App, it is possible to consult average blood glucose values for the following intervals: daily, 7, 14, 30, and 90 days.
The lower button allows viewing each individual blood glucose result with its corresponding date and time.
Pre-set target blood glucose range
The factory setting for the target blood glucose range is 70-160 mg/dL. However, the target blood glucose range can be modified and set between a lower limit value of 60-140 mg/dL and an upper limit value of 90-300 mg/dL.
Presence of automatic strip ejection button for greater ease of use.
