Description
Glucosamine is an amino sugar widely found in nature, where it is present in chitin and numerous mucoproteins and mucopolysaccharides. It is also naturally present in our body, primarily in articular cartilage. It is prepared by isolation from chitin. Glucosamine supplementation is indicated in cases of increased need for this nutrient.

D-glucosamine sulfate (from crustacean shells); bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agents: talc, magnesium salts of fatty acids (vegetable) and silicon dioxide.
