Description
Food supplement containing 50 mg of L-glutathione per capsule. Glutathione is a natural sulfur-containing tripeptide, formed from the amino acids L-cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid. In animals and plants, glutathione plays an important role: by acting as a redox buffer, it maintains the SH group of proteins in a reduced state. L-glutathione is a cofactor of Glutathione Peroxidase (GSH-Px), one of the main antioxidant enzymes in our body.
