HERBISLAND
Description
Medical device based on natural extracts of Icelandic lichen, recommended for relieving dry cough, hoarseness, and irritation of the pharyngeal and oral mucous membranes in adults and children aged 12 and over.
The dry extract of Icelandic lichen is rich in water-soluble mucilage, which coats and protects the mucous membrane of the mouth and pharynx, offering deep hydration and immediate relief.
The main components of the dry extract are mucilages with polysaccharides, which form a protective film on the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract. This layer helps to relieve mucosal irritation, such as in cases of sore throat or hoarseness, and to suppress dry cough caused by external stimuli. Furthermore, the mucilages retain water on the surface of the mucous membrane, providing deep hydration to the irritated and dry oral and pharyngeal mucosa. In this way, they protect the mucous membrane of the mouth and pharynx from harmful agents, such as dry or polluted air. When the mucous membrane is damaged, this protection helps to soothe it and accelerate its recovery.
Instructions for use
Adults and children aged 12 and over: 1 lozenge up to 8 times a day.
Dissolve the lozenge in the mouth. To maximize the effectiveness of Herbisland lozenges, avoid eating or drinking immediately after taking them. This ensures that the product remains on the oral and pharyngeal mucosa for a long time, providing optimal relief. To promote symptom improvement, it is advisable to consume tea or other hot drinks, but avoid doing so immediately after taking Herbisland lozenges.
This product can be used for an extended period. It is recommended to continue use for a few days even after symptoms disappear. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult a doctor.
Components
Each lozenge contains 3 mg of dry extract of Cetraria islandica (L.) Acharius s.l., thallus (equivalent to 90-120 mg of Icelandic lichen).
Extraction solvent: water.
The other ingredients are ascorbic acid, mannitol, malic acid, sucralose, natural orange flavor, natural citrus flavor (butylhydroxytoluene), turmeric oil color, and isomalt. The excipients used in the extract are isomalt and anhydrous colloidal silica.
Warnings
Oromucosal use. Dissolve the lozenge in the mouth.
