Description
A food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of gastrointestinal disorders in infants, such as functional constipation and/or infant colic.
To contribute to faster gastric emptying, to soften stool consistency, and to less gas formation in the intestine, Humana DG PLUS contains:
- a lipid mixture with increased beta-palmitate content;
- partially hydrolyzed whey proteins;
- GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) prebiotic fibers.
Humana DG PLUS is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants in the first 6 months of life, when not breastfed. It is also suitable for their nutrition after 6 months of life as part of a diversified complementary diet.
The product contains less lactose than traditional infant formula.

Directions for use
When preparing milk, strictly follow the instructions for use.
Sterilize bottles, teats, and rings before each use. Prepare the milk before each meal and administer immediately.
Shake the bottle well and then pour the necessary amount of milk into the previously sterilized bottle. Heat the bottle to 37 °C. Do not heat the bottle in the microwave, risk of scalding.

The indicated milk quantities are approximate; the dosage may vary according to the pediatrician's instructions, based on the infant's needs.

Do not reuse leftover milk.
Improper preparation and use can harm the infant's health.
Do not administer parenterally.
Humana DG PLUS is based on partially hydrolyzed cow's milk proteins. Do not use in case of cow's milk protein allergy, lactose intolerance, galactosemia, galactose and glucose malabsorption.
To be used under the supervision of a pediatrician.
Breast milk is the ideal food for infants. If breastfeeding is not possible, Humana DG PLUS can be used, after consulting a pediatrician. The introduction of complementary feeding should only be done following the pediatrician's instructions.

Storage
Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. Once opened, close the bottle and store upright in the refrigerator.
Shelf life unopened: 12 months.
Shelf life after opening: 24 hours.
