Description
Sterile, preservative-free ophthalmic solution. Hylo Care is used for lubrication and as an aid in the treatment of damaged eye surfaces caused by dry eye or surgical interventions.
For the eye to remain healthy, the outer tissues, conjunctiva and cornea, must always be moist. Only in this way can the eye function properly and problems not arise. If, when staying in a dry or air-conditioned environment, under the action of wind or sun, or at the end of a long day, you experience burning, itching, a feeling of tiredness and dry eyes, this may be a sign of poor eye lubrication. In this case, it is advisable to apply Hylo Care to intensely moisturize the eye and restore its natural moisture balance.
Hylo Care contains the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a physiological substance present in the eye and in other parts of the body. Sodium hyaluronate has the peculiarity of forming a homogeneous and lasting lubricating film on the surface of the eye, which is not quickly eliminated. Therefore, the moisturizing effect lasts for a long time, without vision being compromised. This is why Hylo Care can be used without problems during the day, unlike ophthalmic ointments whose use during the day is not recommended due to their greasy consistency, which causes blurred vision. Furthermore, Hylo Care contains dexpanthenol, which belongs to the large group of B vitamins. This component meets the eye's need for intense regeneration and promotes the lubricating action of sodium hyaluronate. Hylo Care provides immediate relief to irritated eyes, refreshes them and keeps them healthy.

Composition
1 ml Hylo Care contains 1 mg of sodium hyaluronate, dexpanthenol, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate and water for injections.

Instructions for use
1) Remove the cap before use. To remove the cap, hold it firmly with one hand and, with the other hand, rotate the bottle downwards. Before the first application, turn the bottle upside down with the dropper pointing downwards and press the bottom of the bottle to release the first drop from the dropper. The bottle is now ready for subsequent applications.
2) Keep the bottle upside down, placing your thumb on the top of the bottle and your other fingers on the bottom of it.
3) Support the hand holding the bottle with your free hand.
4) Tilt your head slightly backward, quickly and firmly press the bottom of the bottle. This activates the mechanism for releasing ONE drop. Thanks to the special valve mechanism of the Comod System, the size and speed of release of a drop are always the same, regardless of the pressure applied. Slowly close your eyes to allow the fluid to spread over the surface of the eye.
5) After use, immediately close the bottle with the cap, making sure there are no liquid residues on the dropper. During instillation, avoid any contact between the bottle's dropper and the eye or the skin of the face. The commercially available Comod system releases 10 ml of solution equivalent to about 300 drops. For technical reasons, a small amount of solution always remains in the bottle at the end of use. It is advisable that the Hylo Care bottle be used for the treatment of only one person.
If you use any other eye drops, wait at least 30 minutes between applications and always use Hylo Care last. Ophthalmic ointments, however, should always be applied after Hylo Care. Being preservative-free, Hylo Care is well tolerated even with prolonged use. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions, such as burning or excessive tearing, have been reported, which resolved immediately after discontinuing the use of Hylo Care. Hylo Care can also be applied while wearing contact lenses. To avoid any incompatibility reactions due to possible interactions between contact lens care products and Hylo Care, it is advisable, after inserting contact lenses, to wait about 30 minutes before instilling the eye drops. Hylo Care can be used in children, during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

Warnings
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components. Keep out of reach of children. Use Hylo Care according to your symptoms and according to the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist. Generally, one drop of Hylo Care is instilled into each eye three times a day. If necessary, more frequent use is also permitted. If Hylo Care is used more frequently (e.g., more than 10 times a day), consult an ophthalmologist. Hylo Care is indicated for long-term treatment. As with all ailments, it is advisable to consult an ophthalmologist if symptoms persist.

Storage
Do not store above 25°C.
Hylo Care can be used for 6 months after opening.
Do not use after the expiration date.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
