HYLO
COMOD
Description
Sterile, preservative-free solution for ophthalmic use.
To improve lubrication of the ocular surface in cases of dry eye syndrome, burning, or foreign body sensation caused by environmental conditions or ophthalmic surgery.
Instructions for use
How to apply HYLO-COMOD
Figure 1: Remove the cap before use. To remove the cap, hold it firmly with one hand and, with the other hand, twist the bottle downwards. Before the first application, turn the bottle upside down with the dropper facing down and press the bottom of the bottle to release the first drop from the dropper.
Figure 2: Keep the bottle upside down, placing your thumb on the top of the bottle and your other fingers on the bottom of the bottle.
Figure 3: Support the hand holding the bottle with your free hand.
Figure 4: Tilt your head slightly backward, press quickly and firmly on the bottom of the bottle. This activates the mechanism for releasing a drop. Thanks to the special valve mechanism of the COMOD System, the size and speed of a drop's release are always the same, regardless of the pressure applied. Close your eyes slowly to allow the fluid to spread over the surface of the eye.
Figure 5: After use, immediately recap the bottle, making sure there is no liquid residue on the dropper.
Apply one drop three times a day in each eye.
Warnings
If you notice a worsening or no improvement with use, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you are using any other eye drops, wait at least 30 minutes between applications and always use HYLO COMOD last.
Eye ointments should always be applied after HYLO COMOD.
Due to the absence of preservatives, HYLO COMOD is well tolerated even when used for a prolonged period. In very rare cases, adverse reactions such as hypersensitivity, burning or excessive tearing, pain, foreign body sensation, or other temporary local irritations have been reported, which stopped immediately upon discontinuation of the product.
After applying HYLO COMOD, temporary blurring of vision may occur due to the viscosity of the eye drops. In very rare cases, this may cause a temporary headache in sensitive patients.
It can also be applied when wearing contact lenses. To avoid any incompatibility reactions due to possible interactions between contact lens care products and HYLO COMOD, it is recommended to wait approximately 30 minutes after applying contact lenses before applying the eye drops.
It can be used in children, during pregnancy, and while breastfeeding.
Keep out of reach of children.
