Low osmolarity (245 mOsm/l H2O) oral rehydration solution (ORS), formulated according to the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) guidelines. IDRATON 245 ® exploits the existence of an enterocyte sodium-glucose co-transport system, which remains intact during gastroenteritis. In both secretory and osmotic diarrheas, the functionality of this system allows water to pass from the intestinal lumen to the enterocyte and from the enterocyte to the plasma, provided it is administered simultaneously with correctly diluted sodium and glucose in the correct ratio. Instructions for use
Severe dehydration: dissolve 1 sachet in 200 ml of still water (5 sachets in 1 liter); take 1 or 2 liters of beverage daily or as advised by a doctor. Respect the aforementioned ratio to obtain the correct electrolyte concentration (245 mOsm/l). In other conditions of dehydration and/or intense fluid and salt loss and increased fluid and salt requirement: 2/3 sachets in one liter of water, consuming the beverage as desired.

Contraindications
Severe kidney failure, severe heart failure, adynamic ileus.

Warnings
In cases of kidney failure and heart failure, consult your doctor before taking the product. For children, consult a pediatrician. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult a doctor. The presence of sucralose, a sweetener derived from sugar (sucrose), is noted. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements are not intended as substitutes for a varied diet.
