Infloran®

Bifidobacterium bifidum + Lactobacillus acidophilus
What it is and what it is used for
A combination of components of the normal intestinal flora that rapidly colonize, survive, and activate physiological functions. They inhibit the colonization of pathogenic germs and act against intestinal dysmicrobism caused by chemoantibiotics.
Prophylaxis.
Prevention of gastrointestinal dysmicrobic syndromes.
Therapy.
Diarrheal and dyspeptic syndromes due to altered bacterial flora (diarrhea, non-specific enteritis in adults and infants, colitis).
Dysmicrobism caused by antibiotics. Digestive disorders in artificially fed infants. Adjuvant in the elimination of pathogenic enterobacteria resistant to chemoantibiotics.
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients.
Warnings and precautions
Infloran® should not be used for prolonged treatments.
Color differences of the lyophilized powder may be observed between batches, due to the excipients of the preparation.
The medicine contains lactose and sucrose (see par. “Important information about some excipients”). After a short period of treatment without noticeable results, consult your doctor.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, Infloran® can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
At the recommended doses, no side effects have been reported.
Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects, which are generally temporary.
However, if they occur, it is advisable to consult a doctor or pharmacist.
It is important to tell your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects not described in the package leaflet.
