IRIDIUM wipes
Description
Indicated for the removal of crusts, discharge or secretions from the eyelids and eyelashes due to inflammatory and/or infectious phenomena. Its use is also recommended in conjunction with specific therapies in cases of allergic, inflammatory or infectious eye conditions. IRIDIUM wipes are used for periocular treatment before and after ophthalmic surgery and during treatments for lacrimal duct obstructions.
Instructions for use
After thoroughly cleaning your hands, open the sachet and remove the wipe. Apply the wipe to the eyelid area, gently passing it over to allow for adequate removal of eye secretions and any other deposits (smog, dust, powders, etc.). If particularly persistent secretions or lacrimal duct obstruction occur, it is advisable to warm the closed sachet for a few minutes in lukewarm water (around 40°C) and then use the wipe as a warm compress, gently massaging. It is also possible to squeeze the contents of the wipe onto the closed eye, tilting the head slightly, then massaging with the wipe until all residual matter is completely removed. In case of inflammation, it is advisable to cool the closed sachet in the refrigerator for a few hours and then apply the open wipe to the eye, keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress.
