Description
Eye drops for dry eyes.
Particularly suitable for the treatment of dry eye, it provides relief from burning and irritation sensations caused by dry eyes. Isomar Occhi Plus, thanks to its formulation, helps to soothe the symptoms of dry eye through the following actions:
1. osmoprotective: one of the main causes of dry eye is reduced or abnormal tear secretion caused by an alteration of the natural cellular osmotic balance. Isomar Occhi Plus contains the Isoeye Plus complex (Propylene Glycol, Erythritol, Betaine, L-Carnitine) which offers an osmoprotective action, moisturizes and protects corneal epithelial cells from potential cellular damage caused by hyperosmolarity;
2. rehydrating: hypotonic seawater, distilled waters of cornflower, calendula, eyebright and Maritime Cineraria extract promote hydration of the ocular surface;
3. lubricating: hyaluronic acid and hypromellose stabilize the tear film, helping to keep the ocular surface lubricated and hydrated.
Isomar Occhi Plus provides relief in case of redness, irritation, burning, itching and sensation of foreign bodies, and following tearing and fatigue induced by factors such as exposure to wind and sunlight, dust, pollen, smog, smoke, dry heat, air-conditioned environments, prolonged time in front of video screens and contact lens use.
Isomar Occhi Plus can be used with any type of contact lenses. For greater lubricating and soothing action, it is recommended to instill Isomar Occhi Plus before applying the lenses.
The medical device is intended for users without specialized knowledge, following the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer. The medical device is intended for use in a home environment. All necessary information for correct and safe use of the device is provided to the user.

How to use
1-2 drops per eye every 4/5 hours. It is recommended to alternate treatment cycles with 7-day suspensions. Each cycle should not exceed 30 days of treatment.
For correct use of the product, the following instructions must be followed:
- open the package and for the first administration, remove the protective seal and remove the cap;
- tilt your head back and hold the bottle upside down over the eye;
- gently pull down the lower eyelid with a finger and gradually increase the squeezing force of your fingers on the bottle until a drop is obtained;
- instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac every 4-5 hours;
- close the eye for a few seconds;
- close the bottle immediately after use.
The solution can be reused within 6 months of first opening. If necessary, the operation can be repeated in the other eye.
The cap used for Isomar Occhi Plus is specially designed to ensure the sterility of the product during use and optimal dispensing. It is recommended not to press the closed bottle with force to prevent drops from escaping from the grid of the cap. It is possible that with the gradual depletion of the solution contained in the bottle, greater force may be required.

Purified water, sea water (20-26%)*, Jacobaea maritima extract (0,01%), Calendula officinalis flower water (0,1%), Centaurea cyanus flower water (0,1%), Helichrysum italicum flower water (0,1%), Euphrasia officinalis flower/leaf/stem water (0,001%), erythritol (0,15%), propylene glycol (0,25%), betaine (0,1%), L-carnitine (0,15%), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (0,25%), sodium hyaluronate (0,25%).

Warnings
The medical device is not indicated for subjects with known hypersensitivity to the components present in the formulation. Before use, carefully read the information provided by the manufacturer. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Discontinue treatment if any undesirable effects occur. Do not use in conjunction with other topical treatments. Do not ingest. The product is intended solely for ophthalmic use. Do not puncture or tamper with the package. Do not use the product if the package is open or damaged. Do not use after the expiration date. The expiration date refers to the product in intact packaging and stored correctly. The product is intended for adult patients. There are no specific data regarding the use of the product in children and pregnant women. Keep out of sight and reach of children. It is recommended to wash your hands thoroughly before applying the solution and not to touch the tip of the dispenser with your hands. During the administration of the solution, it is recommended not to touch the conjunctival membrane with the tip of the bottle. For proper storage, it is recommended to correctly close the bottle after each use. Do not dispose of the bottle in the environment after use. In the event of a serious incident occurring in relation to the medical device, immediately report it to the manufacturer and the Competent Authority of the member state where the incident occurred.

Storage
Store inside the box, in a dry place, away from light and heat, at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
Shelf life of unopened package: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 6 months.
