Description
Class IIa medical device.
Kit composed of: a Mefar2000 nebulizer (lower body, pisper, upper body) and a volumetric mask with connector and discharge valve.
The Mefar2000 nebulizer with the volumetric mask can be used for the treatment of bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, cystic fibrosis and other respiratory diseases by administering drugs in aerosol form. The nebulizer is incompatible with solutions containing Menthol (Eucalyptus, essential oils).

Instructions for use
To avoid risks of microbial contamination, the components must be cleaned and disinfected after each therapy and before use, carefully following the instructions listed.
Cleaning
The Mefar2000 nebulizer and the volumetric mask with connector must be washed with warm water using a non-abrasive detergent and rinsed under running water. Once all parts have been cleaned, they can be dried with a soft cloth or a hairdryer and then stored.
Disinfection
The Mefar2000 nebulizer and the volumetric mask with connector, after being washed, can be immersed in a cold disinfectant solution (such as a 5.25% sodium hypochlorite solution), following the manufacturer's instructions (be careful to consult the warnings to ensure that the disinfectant solution is compatible with the material of the kit). It is possible to disinfect the kit components, with the exception of the tube end, by boiling them in water for 10 min.
Sterilization
Sterilization is possible for the kit components, with the exception of the tube end, in an autoclave at 121°C for 15 min. (preferably not exceeding 30 min.).
