Description
Sterile isotonic ophthalmic ointment with 0.4% sodium hyaluronate. This medical device helps maintain hydration and protect the ocular surface by creating a protective film.
The viscous nature of KORNEAKER allows for prolonged adherence to the ocular surface, so that it can perform its moisturizing and protective action even during nighttime hours.
Indicated for the relief of dry eye and lagophthalmos symptoms. The ointment formulation promotes retention on the ocular surface, and sodium hyaluronate forms a protective shield on the corneal surface, providing protection and hydration. Sodium hyaluronate spreads over the corneal surface, forming a structure capable of trapping water molecules. Thanks to this property, it moisturizes and protects the ocular surface.
KORNEAKER improves hydration and lubrication of the ocular surface in cases of dryness, burning, or a sensation of eye fatigue. KORNEAKER protects the corneal surface and slows down the evaporation of the tear film in patients suffering from nocturnal lagophthalmos, providing relief from typical symptoms such as dryness, burning, and a foreign body sensation in the eye.

Instructions for use
Wash hands before using the product.
Remove the protective cap.
For first use: gently squeeze the tube and discard the first amount of product, which may appear watery.
Tilt your head slightly backward and pull down the lower eyelid of the eye to form a pocket.
Apply gentle pressure to the tube and apply a layer of ophthalmic ointment into the cavity formed between the eye and the eyelid. Close the eye and blink gently.
Additional daily doses may be applied according to your doctor's recommendations.
Avoid the tip of the tube touching the eye, eyelids, fingers, or any other surface.
Close the cap tightly after use.

Warnings
Do not use the product if you have known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the components.
After application, a transient foreign body sensation may be experienced. It may be helpful to blink gently or close your eyes for a few seconds.
Do not use the product if the package is damaged.
Do not use the product after the expiration date.
Do not swallow.
Do not share with other people.
The viscous nature of the product may lead to temporary blurred vision. Do not drive or operate tools or machinery until you have regained clear vision.
Remove contact lenses before using the ointment, otherwise the lens surface may be damaged.
In case of concomitant treatment with other eye drops or ointments, wait approximately fifteen minutes between applications. It is recommended to use KORNEAKER last.
The product is normally intended for use for no more than seven consecutive days; for prolonged use, consult and follow your doctor's recommendations.
Keep the product and its components out of the sight and reach of children.
In case of eye irritation, discontinue use of the product and contact your doctor.
In case of side effects or unusual sensations after using this product, contact a healthcare professional and report the information to the local distributor, manufacturer.
The product is intended for adults and children over 12 years of age.
If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using the product.
Do not use the product if you notice changes in appearance after first opening.

Storage
Store away from direct heat sources, in a cool, dry place at a temperature between 9 and 25 °C.
Shelf life after opening: 8 weeks.
