Description
Product intended for instillation on the ocular surface.
Hypotonic solution useful for aiding both the treatment and prevention of irritated, red, and tired eyes. Thanks to the moisturizing and humectant properties of glycerol and the presence of essential ions such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium, it allows the restoration of the physiological conditions of the tear film and provides an immediate soothing sensation to burning immediately after instillation.
Suitable:
- in case of eye strain and redness due to external agents such as: adverse weather and environmental conditions, use of contact lenses, work at VDTs, prolonged reading
- to soothe symptoms such as burning, gritty sensation, dryness sensation, in mild to moderate dry eye condition.
Composition
Glycerol, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic sodium phosphate, benzalkonium chloride, water for injections.
How to use
It should be dosed individually according to one's condition and based on the recommendations of one's ophthalmologist.
In general, instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the conjunctival sac of each eye as needed, even several times a day.
Remove the protective cap from the tip of the bottle before each use.
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye, letting them fall from above.
Close the bottle by repositioning the protective cap immediately after application.
Warnings
For external use.
Do not use the solution after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one or more components.
It should not be used immediately before the administration of medicinal products for curative purposes and within ten minutes after the application of any topical drug therapy.
Do not use the solution in conjunction with the application of contact lenses.
Remove contact lenses before instillation and wait at least 15 minutes before wearing the lenses again.
To reduce the risk of contamination, each bottle should be used by only one person.
Avoid direct contact of the dropper tip with fingers, the eye or any other surface.
In some rare cases, intolerance (burning and/or irritation sensation) may occur, which is nevertheless without consequences and does not require a change in treatment.
However, it is advisable to contact your ophthalmologist if symptoms persist. Adherence to the instructions contained in the package leaflet reduces the risk of undesirable effects.
Storage
Store at a temperature between 2°C and 25°C.
The solution must be used within 8 weeks of first opening the bottle. After this period, discard any remaining solution.
The expiry date refers to the product in an intact package and correctly stored.
