What it is and what it is used for
Lacrimart is a disinfecting, lubricating ophthalmic product for ophthalmic use.
Why it is used:
Disinfection of the ocular mucosa. Lubricant and humectant for the eye in cases of insufficient tear secretion (dry eye syndrome).
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Hypersensitivity to the components or other chemically related substances. Due to the presence of Benzalkonium Chloride, do not use Lacrimart while wearing soft contact lenses, but between wearings.
Warnings and precautions
Lacrimart can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Possible side effects
In some cases, intolerance (burning or irritation) may occur, which is otherwise without consequences and does not require a change in treatment. Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects. These side effects are generally temporary. If they occur, it is advisable to consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is advisable to inform your doctor or pharmacist of the appearance of any side effects not described in the package leaflet. Request the adverse event reporting form available at the pharmacy (form B).
