Description
Sterile product based on liposomes, vitamin A, vitamin E and amino acids, preservative-free.
LACRISEK Free ophthalmic solution stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, regulating and correcting the lubrication of the ocular surface.
Vitamins A and E, known for their soothing and emollient properties, in synergy with liposomes (hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine), provide functional support to the lipid component present on the eyelid margin. Furthermore, vitamins A and E, as stabilizers of liposomes, contribute to improving ocular and periocular symptoms associated with inflammatory states of allergic and/or infectious origin.
The L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, and L-leucine amino acids contained in the product increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to improving the protection of epithelia subjected to various types of stress.
The lipid component of the tear film is fundamental in containing the tear fluid, as well as in controlling its evaporation.
The use of LACRISEK Free ophthalmic solution aids the function of the lipid secretions of the glands of the ocular adnexa (Meibomian, Zeiss, and Moll glands), contributing to the stabilization of the lipid component of the tear film.

Directions for use
LACRISEK Free is instilled directly onto the ocular surface according to the following dosage regimen: instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day or as needed or as advised by your doctor.

For first use, remove the plastic ring that seals the cap by pulling the side tab. Remove the cap.
Invert the bottle over the eye and, with your index finger and thumb, apply increasing pressure to the sides until a drop comes out. It is possible that as the solution in the bottle runs out, more force may be needed.
Close the bottle with the cap.
