Description
Sterile product based on liposomes, vitamin A, vitamin E and amino acids without preservatives.
LACRISEK Plus Spray stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, regulates and corrects the lubrication of the ocular surface.
Vitamins A and E, known for their soothing and emollient properties, in synergy with liposomes (hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine), provide functional support to the lipid component present on the eyelid margin. Furthermore, vitamins A and E, as stabilizers of liposomes, contribute to improving ocular and periocular symptoms associated with inflammatory states of allergic and/or infectious origin.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to improving the protection of epithelia subjected to various types of stress.
The lipid component of the tear film is fundamental in the function of containing tear fluid, as well as controlling its evaporation.
The use of LACRISEK Plus Spray supports the functionality of the lipid secretions of the glands of the ocular adnexa (Meibomian, Zeiss and Moll glands), contributing to the stabilization of the lipid component of the tear film.

Instructions for use
Apply 1-2 sprays of LACRISEK Plus Spray to the eye, preferably keeping the eyelids closed. It is recommended to apply LACRISEK Plus Spray 3-4 times a day.
In case of severe discomfort, LACRISEK Plus Spray can also be applied more frequently.
In the presence of sleep and adhered secretions, it is advisable to perform adequate ocular and periocular hygiene through the use of sterile medicated disposable wipes, before applying 1-2 sprays per eye of LACRISEK Plus Spray.
Spray the product from a distance of 10 cm.

LACRISEK Plus Spray can also be used in the presence of cosmetics: in this case, apply only one spray from a greater distance (about 20 cm). For the first use, spray into the air until the first nebulization appears.
Keep the bottle in a vertical position during dispensing.

Components
Retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), hydrogenated phospholipids, monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-leucine and purified water.

Warnings
Product for external ophthalmic use only.
To eliminate the risk of solution contamination, avoid the nebulizer coming into contact with the eye or other objects.
To avoid injury to the ocular surface, avoid the nebulizer coming into contact with the eye during instillation.
Small quantities of swallowed product will not cause any problems.
In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic drugs, consult a doctor.
Do not use the product if the bottle is damaged.
Keep the preparation out of sight and reach of children.
Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other chemically related substances.
No undesirable effects are known after product administration. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. After product application, slight and temporary blurred vision may occur.

Storage
Store at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the single-dose container.
Do not disperse into the environment.
Validity of unopened packaging: 24 months.
