Description
Lineagin Ovules is a medical device that helps restore the vagina's natural defenses. Based on boric acid, lactic acid, and polycarbophil, it helps eliminate symptoms resulting from an imbalance in vaginal pH and endogenous bacterial flora.
It is useful in the prevention and treatment of vaginal conditions, including fungal infections. It helps reduce irritation, burning, and itching.
Lactic acid, a component normally present in the vagina, promotes an immediate correction of pH and facilitates the natural restoration of the delicate vulvo-vaginal ecosystem. Boric acid, due to its persistence in the vaginal environment, promotes a prolonged lowering of vaginal pH.
Polycarbophil, once bound to vaginal mucus, can constantly release H+ ions that contribute to lowering the pH of the vaginal environment.

Directions for use
Wash intimate areas thoroughly (preferably with both an external and internal vaginal douche), open the package and, after washing your hands thoroughly, take a single ovule from the blister, insert the ovule gently into the vagina, trying to go deep, preferably in a supine position, avoiding accidental spillage.
Insert 1 ovule per day into the vagina, preferably in the evening before bed, for 5-7 days after the end of the menstrual cycle or as otherwise directed by a doctor.

Ingredients
One ovule contains: boric acid, polycarbophil, lactic acid, tocopherol acetate, vitamin A palmitate, 18-beta-glycyrrhetinic acid, tea tree oil, phosphatidylcholine, semi-synthetic triglycerides.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Do not use the product if the package is not intact. Do not use the product after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the intact product stored correctly. Do not use the product in case of vaginal lesions or wounds. Do not use during menstruation. Do not exceed the recommended dose without medical advice. Use, especially if prolonged, may lead to sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor to establish appropriate therapy. It is important to report any side effects not described in this leaflet to your doctor or pharmacist.
In pregnant and breastfeeding women and children, the use of ovules should be limited to cases of actual necessity and under direct medical supervision. In case of an intact hymen, consult your gynecologist about specific usage methods before use.

Single-use device: do not reuse in case of accidental spillage.

Storage
Store the package tightly closed in a dry place, between 5°C and 25°C, away from light and heat sources.
