Description
Dietary supplement based on potassium citrate and magnesium citrate, useful for supplementing these nutrients in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased need.
Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and electrolyte balance.

Ingredients
Each sachet contains 1513 mg of potassium citrate equivalent to 547 mg of potassium (14 mEq), 581 mg of magnesium citrate, equivalent to 90 mg of magnesium (7 mEq) for a total of 21 mEq of citrate.

Gluten-free and naturally lactose-free.

Directions for use
Unless otherwise medically indicated, it is recommended to take 2 sachets of LITHOS per day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening, preferably on a full stomach, dissolving the contents of one sachet in a glass of water (approximately 150 ml) until a pleasant berry-flavored drink is obtained.

Warnings
For potassium intake, consult your doctor. Concurrent use of some medications may also interfere with potassium retention in the body. Use is not recommended for children.
LITHOS Sachets are contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or conditions that may predispose to the appearance of such plasma alterations (such as chronic renal failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus).
Concurrent use of LITHOS Sachets and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could lead to hyperkalemia. In this condition, it is advisable to monitor potassium levels. No interactions with other drugs are known.
Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal heaviness, nausea, and occasionally diarrhea may be observed.
These symptoms can be alleviated by taking LITHOS Sachets on a full stomach.
Should these or other undesirable effects occur, it is advisable to contact your doctor.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
Supplements are not intended as substitutes for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
The product contains polyalcohols: excessive consumption may have laxative effects.
The product may promote urine alkalinization.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from light and localized heat sources, sunlight, and avoid contact with water.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in an intact package.
