Description
Dietary supplement based on potassium citrate and magnesium citrate.
It is particularly helpful for individuals subject to intense fluid loss, such as heavy sweating, diuresis, or diarrhea, or in patients undergoing therapy with drugs such as diuretics, laxatives, or corticosteroids.

Instructions for use
It is recommended to take two sachets per day, unless otherwise advised by a doctor.
LITHOS SACHETS should preferably be taken on a full stomach, dissolving the sachet in a glass of water.
For different indications (prevention of kidney stones), follow your doctor's prescription.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
LITHOS SACHETS is contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or from conditions that may predispose to the appearance of such plasma alterations. These conditions include chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
The simultaneous intake of LITHOS SACHETS and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could lead to hyperkalemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor blood potassium levels.
No interactions with other drugs are known.
Rarely, during treatment, mild gastrointestinal disturbances may develop, such as: abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea. The tablet form may be particularly suitable for these individuals.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from light and localized heat sources, direct sunlight, and avoid contact with water.
The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in an unopened package.
